People can have a strong opinion of something and have a very good reason why it is the way they believe it is, but often times they are wrong. This is because people often make assumptions more than anything else. We may assume that something is true from the way things look, from the words we hear, from the way someone talks, from the actions of others, or from our experience of something.
However, these things are not always right and it won't necessarily be easy to find out if they are right or not. Another thing that can be a problem is when one person's idea of what is correct contradicts another person's idea of what is correct.
